Last updated: August 5, 2026
This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) describes prohibited uses of WaveCall websites, networks, systems, and telecommunications services. It supplements applicable customer agreements and policies. Customers are responsible for their users, traffic sources, downstream customers, and anyone using services through their accounts.
Lawful and authorized use
Services may be used only for lawful, authorized purposes and in compliance with applicable telecommunications, consumer-protection, privacy, marketing, robocall, caller-ID, and other laws and industry requirements.
Prohibited activity
You may not use, facilitate, or knowingly allow WaveCall services for:
- Illegal robocalling, spoofing, fraud, phishing, or impersonation.
- Wangiri, traffic pumping, artificial traffic, number harvesting, or other schemes designed to generate improper charges or compensation.
- IRS, government, bank, technology-support, warranty, prize, or similar scams.
- Threats, harassment, hate, exploitation, or unlawful or deceptive content.
- Spam calls or communications made without required consent.
- Unauthorized resale, credential abuse, or circumvention of registration, identity, or traffic controls.
- Malware, denial-of-service activity, scanning, unauthorized access, or interference with networks or systems.
- Any activity that violates law, a carrier requirement, an industry traceback request, or the rights of others.
Caller identity and consent
Caller ID information must be accurate and authorized. Customers must obtain and document all legally required consent, honor opt-outs and do-not-call requests, and maintain appropriate suppression lists.
Cooperation and records
Customers must maintain accurate account and customer information, promptly respond to WaveCall compliance inquiries, preserve relevant records, and cooperate with lawful traceback, fraud mitigation, regulatory, and law-enforcement processes.
Monitoring and enforcement
WaveCall may investigate suspected violations and may block traffic, destinations, routes, or features; require corrective action or additional verification; suspend or terminate service; or report conduct to carriers, industry groups, regulators, or law enforcement where appropriate. Immediate action may be taken when needed to protect users, networks, or the public.
Reporting abuse
Report suspected abuse or policy violations to info@wavecall.net. Include relevant caller ID information, timestamps with time zone, call details, and supporting documentation when available.
